Well... yes, if we talk about total numbers, probably it is. I agreed.
May be if we consider center and center east regions of Argentina, Uruguay, and southern Brazil, numbers could be very similar.
But you are right, Uruguay has the biggest % of white people in Latin America.

Argentinian whites are more whites, they are germans and italians and other nordics. Uruguay is only Iberian.

Uruguay; judging by the 23and me statistica posted in this forum

I can tell also my impressions based also when i worker with tourists (a good chunk of them South Americans)

I haven t met much Uruguayans to e honest; only 4 Uruguayans torists 3 of them looked spanish one was mestiza looking

The argentines I ve met were all whites with some castizos-slight mestizos

The mexicans I met it depends; menu were mestizos; but some had instead an appearence like a dark south European or menas like Jewish and lebaneses.. Meaning they looked Mediterranean; notable mention to some blonde reluctant in mexico; some tourists looked like an average central or north European.. There was this mum and daughter both tall and blondes I spoke with them in English like I do with anybody later discovering they were Mexican from Mexico City.. When they told me, they smiled at me a but ironically.. Meaning they probably are used to be confused with Anglo Americans. I had too just one group of mexicans composed by criollo-pure spanish looking too

Aboutg Colombians and Venezuelans they are mestizos and some castizos; even those fair features are obviously mestizos

Dunno why but there are loads of Puerto Ricans-American tourist in my city; they looked sometimes triracila with relatively light skin; in other cases spanish in other spanish but with wry tanned skin or darker features

The Chileans I saw looked sometimes like argentines but with a bit statistically incidence of more native traits; there were also mestizo Chileans but very few as tourists here most are white Chileans and castizos chileans

I had too tarentines also some ecuadorians and also Bolivians tourists; they look mestizos or mestizos-indio

The Peruvian tourists instead were criollo looking; with two girls with Italian surnames and blondish

I had also a family from El Salvador who looke spanish with heavy tan and dark features

    A guatemaltec who looked castiza-mestiza

Brazilians; most of them criollos from south Europe look to south euro mixed with north euro and also some mulatto Brazilian

I had also USA tourists of recent Hispanic origins; of the Hispanic living in Florida all looked spanish criollo or castizos or spanish but tanned and dark features sometimes

Mexicans American seem more frequent in California instea

    As a whole country: Uruguay

However, the Pampas and South Brazil are probably comparably "white" and far more populated.

I actually think this is a good description of Puerto Ricans as a whole.

What is the percentage of the DNA which decides if a person is Euro or not?
    90% more or less?
