Are Turks White?

Are South Americans white? Are Africans black?

Some are. Some are not.

Simple.

Terrible comparision, South America is a continent, which was inhabited by non-white Native Americans. Europeans came there, brought black slaves with them. In that multi-racial situation, lots of words were invented like White itself, or like Quadroon, mestizo etc. and South America was Christianized, Indo-Europeanized. Now some south Americans are white some not

Turkey is hella different. First of all White is invented in the new world and much more relevant there, secondly Turkey is a Muslim Turkic country. What I say is in here whiteness becomes obscure, we don't use words like White or Mestizo to define race, there is only Zenci which means Negro. Here is not like South America. That's why I would say it's not appropiate to classify Turks white or non-white, but maybe as European passing or not.
