Czech Republic - Eastern or Western

Mentally the most westernised ppl from the eastern block. I say it as a compliment. They are the most civilised.

Mentally speaking Czechs are closer to Germans and Austrians than Russians.

Always seemed far more Central European than truly Eastern IMO. From a Balkan perspective they are definitely Western.

Czechs are Eastern. cities aside, countryside is Eastern Euro. of course, with its local vibe, the East is larger and more complex than the West, so one should allow for variation, but overall Czechs are Eastern Euro. Eastern Europe goes from Berlin to Vladivostok and beyond
