Darkest European population

I always asked myself which population is in general the darkest in Europe and I used the search function in order to look for such a thread but unfortunatly I did not find a satisfying answer.

So in order to gain certanity on this intriguing issue I decided to open a new one. I also add a poll with potential candidates and I would like to outline that I intentionally did not include Turkey because it is an Eurasian country and also I neglected Cyprus, Malta and Armenia because these populutions are too small to be regarded.

Why is Romania an option and Portugal or Italy aren´t? Romanians are not even close to being the darkest Europeans.

Italians and Portugese have a significant Keltic and Germanic admixture.
I do not consider them to be dark in general.

I am objective. I´ve been to Romania. Really, the poll results (at the moment) are nothing but a joke. Romania is north of Bulgaria(!!!) and is darker than Greece?

People living on the islands are the darkerst. Of the mainlanders Calabrians are the darkest.
