Didn't expect much from this one tbh, but it really surprised me. One of the best (not-fantasy, not-action) movies I've watched

I'm heavily disappointed in American cinema from the last 5 years or even more..The last good movie I've seen was the movie ''Dawn of the planets of the apes''. I threw 90 % of the movies I've downloaded in the bin after watching only 10 minutes of it..One of the worst I've seen lately was 12 years a slave and some movie with a guy who jerks of on porn the whole day and acts like he's Italian-American.

Most actors are like plastic dolls without any real emotion, not to speak about the influence they have one the younger generation, the surgeries they've been through and the botox they've used to appear younger than they are.

Black swan, Faces in the crowd, The Best offer. There are good American movies. But I agree that the years 2005-2010 were more successful.

The Monkey's Paw (2013). Decent horror film. 8/10

The Needle 1988, by Rashid Nugmanov, starring Viktor Tsoi.

The film follows the story of Moro, a drifter who tracks down a drug-dealer who had made his girlfriend into an addict.

Not quite as weird as Nugmanov's other film, The Wild East.Pretty awesome scenery in Aralkum desert, nice soundtrack, lots of it songs from Kino (Tsui was the frontmen of the band).
