How did this film elude me for so long? It is an early Luc Besson film. He is best known for "The fifth element" and "La Femme Nikita". "Subway" has my favorite brooding beauty Isabelle Adjani and some recognizable french actors. Even Jean Reno has a small part. Best of all there is a young Christopher Lambert before he was the best thing in crappy movies,
Lots of fun in a post punk 80 way. A mafia wife decides to descend into the Subway to find some dwellers there and sets up a band to play concerts for free.

I really like Anthro related movies. Last night I watched a Georgian film, I'd never watched a georgian movie so it was quite an interesting experience, also it's quite recent (takes place during the pandemic):

Not the one i watch now but the one i watched (interested in horrors). With budget of as low as $30000 it came out the best it could. Actors worked for free, but with good soundtrack:



And one Yugoslavian classic (without subtitles). Close to slasher but its still thriller and still censored.

Those are popcorn movies, I wouldn't consider them good films proper.
