I knew a turkmen girl (from turkmenistan). She just looked turkish lol, same with many uighurs even althought they live in china...

I don't doubt it. I have been in Turkey before, these people would stick out in most parts of Turkey. They fit more in Iran as they have Iranian ancestry. Not to mention most Turks are just Turkized Greeks, Armenians, Kavkazians, Balkanoids, and even some Levantines.

I dont know about these ppl (did not look at the pics even). But it seems ppl have agenda to present them as mongol or east asian looking, same things with uighuts.

No they don't look East Asian. They look a mixture of Iranic-Mongol/Turkic. They fit in Iran more than Anatolia. Anatolians also have an agenda they want to be more Central Asian than they really are. Not to mention idiots like Bori thinks these people have no Iranian elements, when they do. They also would stick out like sore thumb in most of Anatolia, but can pass in Iran/Azerbaijan due to their Iranic origins.

They differ. Probably because u did not notice other were uygurs too. Uighurs can look this way:



Sure they look part "asian", but nothing like their chinese rulers. Ever many anatolians look more asian than her.

Also the second pic is clearly hazaras from afghanistan.

Uyghurs are dominantly Mongoloid. Mongoloid admixture in Turkmens is quite low for obvious historically recorded reasons and many of them, at least the the ones I met looked more Caucasoid than many Turks of Anatolia. Uzbeks are also on average more Caucasoid than Uyghurs.


This is how Uyghurs look for the most part, nothing like those cherry picked photos on the net.
