That's exactly the problem with most people. We don't care enough about our own laws and constitutions to want to correct any wrong-doing done to us. It's sad when we'd rather just roll over like a bunch of jelly fish than punish those who violate our laws, and the obvious and inevitable outcome of that is we are taken advantage of. I wish we would stop allowing our minds to be filled with ballgames and mindless fluff, and start caring about the future of our countries! Our forebears were believers and staunch defenders of the rule of law. Wars and utter chaos erupted amongst the people for reasons of illegitimacy and unjust leadership. What happened to the love of Athena and that spirit of Tyr, those spiritual defenders we look to for inspiration in times like these?

Its not that I don't care at all. I'm mostly done with all these attempts to kick him out of office before he's been given a fair shot. WE elected him, it wasn't a close race. As far as I'm concerned the people had a chance to speak their peace about his origins, that chance was here and is gone. As a country we choose this.

I don't think not caring about this is enough to say I won't stand up and fight for something more important. I care very much where our country is headed, I'd rather us be concerned about his policies and his actions in office then where his place of birth is.

Obama's legitimacy as President, his ability as an individual to do his job, and the underlying demographic changes in the United States are three separate questions. Spurious claims about his legitimacy can only undermine efforts to grapple with the larger demographic problem.

    Default More debunking

This blog argues that the alleged Kenyan birth certificate is a forgery based on a sample Australian birth certificate on a genealogy site.

On Boingboing, I came across some more flaws:

First, the hospital is Coast Provincial General Hospital (sometimes said to be Coast Province General Hospital), not Coast General Hospital.

Second, Kenya was a Dominion the date this certificate was allegedly issued and would not become a republic for 8 months.

Third, Mombasa belonged to Zanzibar when Obama was born, not Kenya.

Fourth, Obama's father's village would be nearer to Nairobi, not Mombasa.

Fifth, the number 47O44-- 47 is Obama's age when he became president, followed by the letter O (not a zero) followed by 44--he is the 44th president.

Sixth, EF Lavender is a laundry detergent.

Seventh, would a nation with a large number of Muslims actually say "Christian name" (as opposed to name) on the birth certificate?

Eighth, his father (born in 1961) would have been 24 or 25 when he was born and not 26.

Ninth, it was called the "Central Nyanza District," not Nyanza Province. The regions were changed to provinces in 1970.

I'm sure if John McCain was born in Kenya, no-one would even bat an eyelid.

The real issue here is that the Æmerics of society can't accept the fact that a black president has been democratically elected -- hence they try all sorts of gimmicks to try and invalidate him. It won't work. What will work, though, is if these people started acting more honourably in life -- then perhaps enough people would vote for their candidates in order to take office.

He was born in Panama. But both his parents were American citizens over the age of 21.

Obama was elected with the assistance of ACORN, who's voter registration drives were so successful they managed in some areas to register more voters then there were adults of voting age.

I'm aware of the ACORN irregularities, but I still don't think McCain would have won, even if ACORN didn't exist. McCain was comprehensively routed. Besides, ACORN's activities happened under Republican tenure.

Voter registration is a function of the state & is usually done at the county level. Many of the counties where there were irregularities had Democratic registers & in states were the secretary of state (the statewide official who certifies lection results) were Democratic. With maybe the state attorney general also being a Democratic.

Ombongo's white mother was only 16 years old when she birthed the atrocity. US law says he could be American through his mother's citizenship, IF she were 18. Therefore Ombongo is a British citizen, that was the citizenship of his father at the time of his birth. His mother was not old enough to pass on an American citizenship to the usurper.

He is an illegal alien. I say deport him to Kenya or Great Britain, that is his citizenship.
