All I can say is for a big US city, the only one I am familiar with (having previously lived next door to it for 43 years) is Detroit (the metro area in general is included in this).

Most people there don't care about other races, just one race and that is blacks, in particular criminally prone ghetto blacks. The riot in 1967 still has bitter memories particularly for the older generation and it's legacy lives on.

Of foreigners I like Japanese. The are plenty of Americanized ethnic folk (something of a contradiction in terms) that I like just fine, but those are individual cases. I definitely prefer people who are not foreign, unless they are European but that is outside the purview of this thread.
