Default Where do I fit on the political spectrum?

I was raised in a fairly progressive household. My father donates a hefty amount to the National Jewish Democratic Council, has been a registered Democrat ever since he could vote, and even campaigned for Obama. My mother loosely supports the Democratic Party.

I am a registered Democrat, but my loyalty has been fading. I feel like my opinion does not matter and that my interests are trivial. To be frank, I feel like they are against me because of what race I am. I agree with their intentions, and I feel as if they want to improve the quality of life for everyone, except for whites.

Does anyone else feel this way? Or is it just me?

I meant that they (as in liberals/leftists) want to improve the quality of life for everyone but whites. Or at least that's how I feel, especially when reading numerous blogs and participating in political discussion.

Of course, most of us are of the same opinion here.

I don't think its that general.

Democrats tend to look out for the lower classes, whereas Republicans look out for the upper classes. Or at least, that's what it usually is.

I would describe myself as traditionalist and maybe conservative i guess at least by European standards anyway. By American standards this is rather debatable. Overall these left-right, etc. political classifications are rather hillarious in my view becouse views can vary considerably depending on certain fields.

I guess what I'm saying is that they support equality for minorities, women, homosexuals, the handicapped, and the poor as long as they aren't white. Or at least it feels that way.

Well, that sounds like me, minus the except-for-whites part.

I think it only seems that way because white people tend to be in the class which doesn't need assistance.

    For my results, I got . . .

    21% Nationalistic
    52% Secular
    3% Visionary
    18% Anarchistic
    37% Capitalistic
    11% Militaristic
    64% Anthropocentric

So can you help me analyze these results?

Most white people are not poor in the United States, but a sizable proportion of the poor are white.
