Apulians (Italians from Apulia).. who overlaps most?

When i see on the streets people with southern italian appearence but with light features i always ask them ''sei pugliese?''...9 out of 10 times i receive ''Yes'' as reply

Since I'm one of them (and I look more "northern Italy"), I'm gonna say: Northern Italy, France (especially the South), Spain, Portugal, but of course also Southern Italy and Greece.. it depends on the case, we're actually quite varied

It's true, we're lighter (not always though), and I'm the proof of this

Actually, pigmentation is the only similarity between Southeast Italians and Albanians.

To be honest, I don't see why everyone thinks they look like Albos since they clearly don't.

Not anyone does, we're varied and mixed.. Central Italy, Southern Italy, Greece, Illyrians and other "Northern influences" (like Alpinids and in a much smaller measure Normans) all combined..

Albanians plot more Northern than Apulians from what I've seen. So they are actually lighter than Apulians.

Actually, pigmentation is the only similarity between Southeast Italians and Albanians.

I meant compared to the rest of the Southern Italy (but mostly the darker Calabria and maybe even the typical Sicilian); we have more "mixed" Mediterranid features, but actually it much depends on the case..
