What the hell are you arguing then? This was your original claim.
"No they don't. The German population in America is greatly exaggerated. Most people in America that claim German heritage are actually English."
Which was fallacious, had logical inconsistencies, and had no sources to substantiate it. Basically pulled out of your ass.
Well the Pennsylvania Dutch weren't the only Germans to come to the U.S. And I didn't say they were homogenized, although in some areas they are, Southeastern Pennsylvania in particular. Also what I posted was the population of Pennsylvania itself, of course not all people in Pennsylvania have German ancestry, and not all Pennsyvlania Germans lived/stayed in Pennsyvlania. The Pennsylvanian Dutch (German) population started at 1 million in 1820, then got up to 13 million today? All homogenized? Okay, I'll accept that stat without arguing.
308 million people in the United States aren't non-hispanic white. The number is almost 100 million less than that. So I don't know where you get your figures. So, you proved there's 13 million Pennsylvanian Dutch people, in America, a country with a population of 315 million people, 308 million of whom are white.
How does that disprove my assertion?
