He was a brilliant writer, and dubbed the most quotable person ever.

    Default Just one ?

Well, he's been a lifelong hero of mine, so I'd have to say Marcus Tullius Cicero. But, there are SO many more.

Atatürk, Tito, Stalin, Karl Marx, Lenin, Genghis Khan, Attila, Omar Khayyam, Osman I, Kâzım Karabekir, Rauf Denktaş, Sultangaliyev and of course Ulugh Beg...

I'd like to ask Atatürk what should we do as Turkish youth.
I'd like to ask Tito how he brought all Yugos along for years.
I'd like to ask Stalin how he could kept all the power in his hands.
I'd like to ask Marx and Lenin what they think about Third Worldist Socialism and Theory of Dependence. I'd also ask them if they think some of their theories got perished in 20.th century.
I'd like to ask Genghis Khan and Attila how they fed thousands of horses while crossing many lands,
I'd like to ask Omar Khayyam how can Mathematics be fun. Of course while drinking the best wine from grapes of Esfahan and Shiraz
I'd like to ask Osman I, what is the secret of laying foundations of such a great empire.
I'd like to ask Karabekir if he was jealous on his youth friend Atatürk or if he was sincere about his criticisms.
I'd not ask Rauf Denktaş anything. Just drinking a coffee together with him would be enough. I feel myself unlucky since I did not see him before he died
I'd like to ask Galiyev how should be modern pan-Turkism.
I'd like to ask Ulugh Beg, what's better? Being a warrior and feared leader like his grandpa Timur or being a scholar/intellectual leader like him.

Tito and Chinngis Khan would certainty be interesting to talk to. Tito being able to keep together a country that after his death broke up into so many parts is amazing, and Chinngis Khan's extreme beliefs on loyalty and great military power would also be interesting to learn more about from the Khan himself.

    Some more...

Prophet Mohammed. I'd like to ask him what does he think about sect differences in Islam.
Augustine of Hippo, I'd like to ask him what does he think about science-religion discussions today. Also I am curious if such a wise philosopher would agree with bigotry era of Europe, even despite those bigots claimed to be followers of him to an extent.(the Inquisition and such stuff).
Socrates, I'd like to ask him which religion today is closer to his thoughts. I'd also ask him about what he thinks on the modern philosophy.
Adam Smith. I'd like to ask him what does he think about evolution of capitalism to a rather monopolist one than the "competitive" one.
Robespierre and Jacobines in general, I would like to ask him how the French Revolution really happened. Was their Vanguardism that important or were French people already waiting for some leader against nobility? I always think the second but I'd like to listen from them.

Those are for now I am currently in bus and writing from phone but there are certainly more historical figures I'd like to talk with.

I would like to meet Mustafa Kemal AtaTürk

Why? I want to know just how he pwned so many people.

I would like to meet Winston Churchill.

Why? I want to know how he kept his cool and managed to keep the beacon of freedom alive in Europe during WWII.

I wouldn't want to talk to him but it would be interesting to see how insane Nero was (if at all). I think it would be very insightful and inspiring to talk to Patton, Carl von Clausewitz, Buddha, Andrew Carnegie, Rainier Maria Rilke, Seneca, and Joseph Conrad.
