    No,..iberis has homogeneus R1b types, altough with some regional peaks, like the Catalan-Gascon subclade M167, or the Vasco-Navarrese M153

    It is likely that RL-21 mutated from M167.

    Indeed. I believe higher than average (for Iberia) levels were also found in Minho, NW Portugal (checking for references). As more Iberians and Western French are tested, the percentage of R-L21 increases for France, Spain and Portugal.
