Here in Mallorca in Sant Antoni every town from the centre of the island have it's own Demons (Dimonis in our language) that start chasing kids with a stick so you must escape from them.

well, it's a pagan custom, they're called "Bušari"(:
the costumes are from the pre-Slavic period and resemble Alpine ones.
according to ethnologists, people used to dress like that to scare away the winter and evil spirits, but recent historical records say that they dressed like that to frighten the Ottomans from our region as well,
In any case, it remained part of the tradition and under the protection of UNESCO, especially in south Hungary where Croats brought it.

of course we also have religious festivals, we call them "Kirvaj", and every village has its patron Saint, but unfortunately I couldn't find a single video from my town or village.

I believe such pre-Christian customs can be found in many countries.
do you know Krampus? It's part of an Austrian Alpine folklore, and now part of a Christian tradition.
on December the 6th, he is following St. Nicholas to frighten naugthy children. They don't get any candies but twigs instead.
since Habsburg, we have that tradition too (:
