you should aim for greater india, not greater bengal, just my two cents

but the system of India/Pakistan is too centralized. If the States of India and provinces of Pakistan became their own nations, then they would see more prosperity because the wealth will not be distributed unevenly in particular states/provinces anymore. The more homogeneous structure of these nations would also restrict problems.

The Bengali people have also constituted separate states for millenia and I mean if West and East Germany can unite and put aside their differences then why not Bengal?

im not very familiar i just think if all the states split up india would loose in relevance in the world, and wouldnt be a superpower. also some states might get richer but they would experience a major influx of immigrants from poorer states and that would cause also tension etc. like bangladeshis are illegal immigrants in india often. if they all unite there would be a bigger market too for economy, thats the reason the European Union unites for example because of bigger market and free trade

im not very familiar i just think if all the states split up india would loose in relevance in the world, and wouldnt be a superpower. also some states might get richer but they would experience a major influx of immigrants from poorer states and that would cause also tension etc. like bangladeshis are illegal immigrants in india often. if they all unite there would be a bigger market too for economy, thats the reason the European Union unites for example because of bigger market and free trade

Most of the alleged Bangladesh illegal immigrants are a false phenomenon and the ones that do immigrate go to Bengali speaking regions anyway. The situation for Southern Asia is different from other multi-ethnic powers like China and Russia, which although multi-ethnic have dominant ethnic groups comprising at least 85% of their nations, while in India and Pakistan, there is no group that is as large. Plus, the government of India has Hindi as the prime official language even though there is no absolute basis for that at all. People in Bengal prior to 1947, did not speak a word of Hindi not found in Bengali.

i dont think they are vaguely related not more vaguely related then europeans. and you might see yourself as so much different but outsiders will treat you all the same and it is easy to conquer india if they are against eatch other like the british did played certain indians against other indians but in the end it is the loss for all indians, because outsiders will see you as indians. even pakistanis are seen as muslim indians etc. indians should do more for a pan-indian identity.

Well, both Indian and Pakistani are geo-political terms, there are 1600+ languages spoken in Southern Asia and many are not even related at all. Even the bigger ethno-linguistics groups that are related, like Dravidians and Indo-Aryans is like being related like Slavs, Germanics etc.

I would rather prefer smaller sovereign states in southern Asia all the way from Bengal-Assam in east to Afghanistan in the west, but also an economic cultural organisation like EU in the region.

i dont know but i think that would be like a balkanisation, i think it is better if they speak with one voice and have one government and military etc. a president of india could do more in the world then a president of bengal could etc. also im not familiar with the identity in india but i thought indians do see themselfes as indians not only as bengalis etc. i think the divisions in southasia shouldnt exist in modern age. those are small tribes divisions and india should be a nation
