My father worked in a PMC (rather would not giving names here) in Iraq from 2004-2011

+ he was a veteran in the last war (like most other older male members in my family).

He volunteered for U.S. Army. There were some Greek volunteers though (like in the Korean War)

My great grandfather was part of the former IMRO ogranization called Ohrana, which protected the Bulgarian villages in Eagean Macedonia from the Greek collaborationist paramilitaries during WW2. He left very interesting stories.
