When the light cruiser USS Juneau went down on November 13, 1942, five brothers were killed. They were all of the Sullivan Brothers, their names were George, Frank, Joe, Matt and Al. The movie Saving Private Ryan fictionally touched on the issue, but their loss was very real. I will not pretend to understand their parent's loss on that day.

What do you think of how siblings should serve in the military? They used to take entire towns and have them serve together, sometimes units get wiped out. What of the community when all of your sons of a certain age are lost together? What of a parent who would grieve 5 lost sons?
