    I don't know anything about testosterone, but growth hormone is secreted during intense exercise, especially on an empty stomach.

    It causes a spike afterwards I think but won't increase it overall from my understanding. Squatting is meant to release the most I've read. I began working out seriously when I was 16 and got chest hair, hairy arms etc and no other male in my family, grandfathers even, has any body hair like that. So I think it must have increased my testosterone levels compared to my sedentary male family members.
