Question Latin American cities named after cities in Iberia

Recently came a cross an article related to this topic and it got me curious.

Which cities/towns in your country are named after a city in this region of Europe?

the US is not a latin american country but there are some cities based off names from spain such as what CV pointed out with Toledo, Ohio. Also there is a city called oviedo, Florida also Miramar, which is in florida. Alot of towns and counties are also borrowed from spanish saints as well such as St. Augustine, Florida.

There's a list on wikipedia detailing all the cities whose names are of spanish origin.

    Valencia, Venezuela:

Is the capital of Carabobo state, and is the third largest, most populated, and most important Venezuelan city, after Caracas and Maracaibo.
