I don't dislike any languages, but I don't find it a musical language. The many aspirations and the way the language is structured makes many songs sound syncopated, lacking a fluid rhythm, at least the pop ones.

But it sounds still similiar to arabic. But yes unlike Arabic the Soqotri language is part of the South Semitic language branch similiar to aethio-semitic languages.

Not really, but there are several Arabic dialects. Therefore, it's hard to say.

I've always wondered how non-Arabic speakers find use when speaking lol . I listen to Hebrew and other sister languages to Arabic if its like that! it does not sound good I guess, especially when speaking with a very different Bedouin accent.
