I couldn't live with myself, knowing that I could've helped a co-human being & decided not to. I just couldn't, so indeed, I would help him/her. Imagine seeing a child or an elder person in need & not helping them, not that I'm demeaning adult civilians, but still, that would've been an unreliastic scenario for me.

It's a feeling of guilt, What if you could've chose to save a life, but chose not to. Then a few minutes later, for example they were shot and ended up dying. But you know you could've helped them.. In the end you'd feel guilt, then you couldn't be able to put up with that, then eventually commit suicide.. Not referring to you Arbe, just in General

Actually hypocrisy it irrelevant to this topic, but you can learn a lot from someone's writing, if you know what to look for in their words. I still prefer honest 'enemies', any time.
