Default Does different races have different voices?

Does different races have different voices? I´m not talking about accents now but the sound of the voice. If you hear for example an adopted african person you realize it sounds like just another of your ethinicity. In other cases however, their voices sound very alien. It can be hard to tell when they are speaking different languages or having heavy accents

I always found it very interesting how SSA voices seem to be different. I dunno if it's just the way they're brought up, but I find it hard to believe that all the best singers are black if they don't have something different in their vocal chords. I've heard they have thicker vocal chords, giving them that extra oomph. It's so substantial, that we've seen a growing trend of white singers imitating black voices.

I only notice it with SSA, outside of accents which are a product of the "nurture" category.

From what I hear Black males have a voice box the size of a 50 cent (Australian) coin. White males: 20 cents, black females: 20 cents, and white females: 10 cents. So the larger the voice box the deeper the voice. I guess that makes a difference.

I can always tell the race of a person by their voice.

It's not necessarily deeper though. Even black tenors sound more "black" compared to white tenors. Take Corey Glover from Living Colour as an example:

Someone like Adele will never sound like Whitney Houston.

I think yes because different races developed different mouths etc so the voice should sound a lot different

    I love being Greek cause....
We always fix everything...even the last momment! We do not lose courage by 4 centuries of slavery...
We fought 10 years for the eyes of one woman... We love and hate with passion...
The word "φιλότιμο" and "νάζι" have no exact meaning in any other language of the world...
When other people couldn't find words, they used ours

I've noticed old Greek singers have an unusually high amount of deep, gravelly voices, both men and women. I'm not sure if it's biological, because I've seen some who fake it to be more "laiko". In general though, if I were to compare Greeks and Anglos, I think Greeks have deeper voices.
