Is Northern or Southern Europe more physically homogenous from place to place?
What I mean is, will you have a greater chance of mistaking say, Brits and Russians for eachother, or a greater chance of mistaking Portuguese and Greeks for one another?

Southern Europe, but this answer is very biased as i am a Northerner myself.

South, but just because the North is such a much more massive landmass with more individuals living in there, so I suppose it's no surprise you'd find more variety there.
