    Northern Europe has a greater variation if we include Finns and Saami among N.Europeans. Otherwise the Southerners have a greater variation. There is a bigger difference between Greeks and Portuguese than between Scots and Poles IMHO.

    Poles aren't Northern Europeans.

    I voted Northern Europeans (Scandinavians/Balts) are more homogenous.

    Genetically, northerners are more homogenous. Phenotypically, I'd say the variation is just about the same.

    What is Northern Europe? Germany and British Isles excluded? If it's just Batlic states, Finland and Scandinavia vs Iberia, Italy, Greece and Balkan then it's most definitely Southern Europe to someone who's familiar with physical anthropology. But most Northerners arn't and they wouldn't be able to notice the difference between a Greek and a Spaniards for an example.
