Naruto looks like a typical handsome blue eyes and blonde hair boy, he looks Caucasoid to me.



Sometimes he squints his eyes but I don't conisder that as sign of his eastern origin

Tbf, Lupin is supposed to be half French.

Usually when a character is western they're drawn slightly different than what's typical for anime & manga.

White, for sure. I have seen some apologetic arguments on why most anime/manga characters look white (that cartoons are not meant to be taken literally, e.g. Marge Simpson is supposed to be white, but has yellow skin and Afro hair), but I can't say I am convinced.

He's supposed to take after his French side, and I'm not certain about Fujiko, but she has an English surname which implies that she's also mixed.

Japanese don't claim they look white though. They say they are Japanese with dyed hair and color contacts.

TO BE HONEST... I'm surprised to say this but this Jomon influenced Japanese can easily pass for Lupin. I think Jomon influence Japanese does have a look that can certainly make them pass for anime faces but only those with dark hair and dark eyes.

Well they did made a live action Sailor moon, the characters were Japanese. I don't Japanese thinks like us at all.
