Russia wins Miss World
Kseniya Sukhinova from Russia was crowned Miss World 2008 at a glittering ceremony in South Africa.
Trindad and Tobago's Gabrielle Walcott was second runner-up and India's Parvathay Omanakuttan was first runner-up.
Sukhinova is from Siberia, studying for an engineering degree.
Sukhinova is the second Miss Russia to go on and win the event after Julia Kourochkina won in 1992.
Finalists from 109 countries were whittled down to five finalists - India, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, Angola and South Africa.
This year viewers in 180 countries were able to vote online for one of the semi-finalists.
The winner was decided by an international jury.
