Which group is hardest to classify; Southern Europeans vs. Northern Europeans?

I don't think either is. I'd rather say Central Europe is where it gets most complicated. There are so many various influences and with all the blending it's often just hard to tell the exact combinations.

Both groups have their own differences. However northern europeans, especially anglo-saxons, germans, skandinavians, and irish ( with a bit of problems) have become the symbol of the european race because they colonised the world and created the mirror of the white race. Everyone who does not look like them evan today is not considered white.

Northern Europeans all look very similar to me. I think it's because I am more familiar with Southern Europeans though. If I were Northern European I would probably think the opposite.

They are all difficult to classify, but I'd say Northerners only because they have a more varied group of phenotypes( Brunn, Borreby, Nordid, East Baltid etc...). While Southerners are more or less uniformly dark despite phenotype differences ( Dinaro-Mediterranid, Atlanto-Mediterranid, Dinarid, West Mediterranid, Berid, etc...).

Its true, Southern Europ borders with MENA, there is no border or other ethnecities above Northern Europe related to them.
