What do you mean by regular army? How would Finns move hundreds of thousands of men to Moscow when Leningrad was still there? Leave Finland undefended?

Finland had a population of 3,7 million, that does not leave large reserves to send in to annihilation battles in Moscow or Stalingrad.

Finns did have an Waffen SS unit that went all the way to Caucasus.

We could have bombed them from the air and by artillery but that was not allowed by the order of Mannerheim.
Killing civilians in Leningrad was not some planned thing, the Soviets should have evacuated the city, it was an intentional decision and a crime against their own people.

I partially give you that and I say partially because in origin germans didn't think there were going to be that kind of attrition war, they had blitzkrieg.

The Battle of San Pasqual was a military encounter that occurred during the Mexican-American War in what is now the San Pasqual Valley community of the city of San Diego, California. On December 6 and December 7, 1846, the Californios, and their Presidial Lancers, led by General Don Andres Pico, (1810-1876), defeated Stephen W. Kearny´s US Army column of 150 men.

They should have taken Leningrad and they would have gotten Finns pushing for Moscow also.
Finns knew by -42 that Germany was going to lose.
Finnish officers where observing and training Germans in the winter of 41-42 to fight in Russia, they reported that the Germans where not well prepared for the terrain or winter.

Actually at the start of Operation Barbarossa most soviet war materiel was of better quality and was more advanced compared to that of the Germans.

How bad is Mannerheims German pronunciation?

All those pilots who shot down over 30 Soviet plane.

    Ilmari Juutilainen, 94 kill
    Hans Wind , 75 kill
    Eino Luukkanen, 56 kill
    Urho Lehtovaara, 44 kill
    Oiva Tuominen, 44 kill
    Olli Puhakka, 42 kill
    Olavi Puro, 36 kill
    Nils Katajainen, 35 kill
    Lauri Nissinen, 32 kill
    Kyösti Karhila, 32 kill
    Jorma Karhunen, 31 kill
    Emil Vesa, 30 kill

Ilmari Juutilainen finished the war without a single hit to his plane from enemy fighter airplanes.once he was forced to land after a friendly anti-aircraft gun fired at his Bf 109.Like fighter aces Erich Hartmann and Saburo Sakai, Juutilainen never lost his wingman in combat.

And Juutilainen is considered the highest scoring non-German ace of all time.

In WW2 Finnish shot down over 1,435 Soviet plane.

Finnish swastika have nothing to do whit Nazi swastika.Finns began to use that already in 1918.
