Finland had a population of 3,7 million, that does not leave large reserves to send in to annihilation battles in Moscow or Stalingrad.

Well you guys blocked the ladoga lake to avoid the sumministration of food and clothes for the soviets so you killed'em without even using weapons.

We could have bombed them from the air and by artillery but that was not allowed by the order of Mannerheim.
Killing civilians in Leningrad was not some planned thing, the Soviets should have evacuated the city, it was an intentional decision and a crime against their own people.

They should have taken Leningrad and they would have gotten Finns pushing for Moscow also.
Finns knew by -42 that Germany was going to lose.
Finnish officers where observing and training Germans in the winter of 41-42 to fight in Russia, they reported that the Germans where not well prepared for the terrain or winter.

Initially they were poorly equipped in comparison to the Germans. Later on, they caught up as the massive war factories in Siberia churned out supplies non stop.

Actually at the start of Operation Barbarossa most soviet war materiel was of better quality and was more advanced compared to that of the Germans.

That is myth, they had more modern material than Germans in the start of Barbarossa.
