    but for the enlightment to happen it prequisites that Europeans were receptive to that knowledge. Why did the enlightment bypass arabs although they had access to this very knowledge? You can only inspire another civilization, just like Ancient Greeks drew inspiration from older civilization, western europeans drew inspiration from Ancient Greeks but what they created was their own.
