First of all there are russian regions who are richer than sweden and have more people than sweden.

Second Worldbank has russian gdp per capita at 21 thousand dollars it as rich as estonia.

IMF uses wrong conversation rate for russia and other eastern european countries but mostly for russia as i pointed out in the past.

and Nominal gdp is bugos, i wouldnt use it.


Just because russia is now down doesnt mean it has always to be like this, or does it make chinese and koreans less smarter than swedes?



They used to be third world countries and are now growing again, korea is still poorer than sweden and other 1st world countries but no one is doubting their future success. They proved it in their education and russia is proving it on the same level. Intelligence has nothing to do how poor or rich countries are. But these tests show.
