Scandinavian languages - one or three?

What's your take on it? I at least agree with him.

(btw, this thread is mainly for people who can actually understand the guy in the video, i.e. Scandinavians)

Yes its only one language. The words are all the same, wich is evident in the writings. The only big difference is in the pronunciation, and its mainly Danish who stick out in that regard. Norweigan and Swedish are completely intelligible with eachother.

No, also Norway has two official Norwegian languages, not one, and i doubt Swedes or Danes would understand the many regional Norwegian dialects..

Eastern Norwegian is very similar to both Swedish and Danish, but the rest of the country is very different, this is why when i travel to Denmark, Danes dont understand a word i say and i have to speak English to them...
