I agree. I don't know why Albanians and Greeks on here argue about who is whiter/more European looking, on average to be neither one of you looks non-European and in fact both ethnicities look very alike to me.

Anyway, Cypriots look more Near Eastern than Greek. You could replace all of Cyprus with Armenians and you wouldn't notice a difference phenotypically.




Epirote and Peloponnese Greeks often look Albanian.

but albanians are generally lighter than greeks in general. I don't think Albanians are greeks look alike... only Arvanites(who want to be greek now) look like us and some northern greeks... but most greeks look nothing like us.

Raine's DNA results show a strong Slavic influence (or rather, Eastern European influence) if I remember correctly, so we'd probably perceive her as Slavic looking. Kertol needs to take a chill pill with trying to over-swarthify Greeks because truth be told a lot of Greeks perceive Albanians as darker than themselves, and most people couldn't tell you guys apart at all.

Most mainland Greeks to me look like Albanians or Bulgarians, and most islanders to me look like southern Italians and western Turks. Cypriots look straight up Near Eastern.

Most iraqis don't look like that. I've seen a fair share of refugee/asylum seekers to know. They do overlap with Lebanese.
