Jedi leader banned by Tesco
The leader of Britain's first Jedi Church has hit out at Tesco for throwing him out of one of its stores because he was wearing a hood.
Daniel Jones, 23, whose Jedi name is Morda Hehol, told supermarket staff he was required to wear it on religious grounds.
But he was informed he represented a 'security risk' and was turfed out of the Bangor branch in North Wales.
Now Mr Jones is accusing Tesco of religious discrimination.
"I'll advise worshippers to boycott Tesco if it happens again", he told The Sun.
"They will feel the Force", he added.
A Tesco spokesman said: "We would ask Jedis to remove hoods. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all went hoodless without going to the Dark Side."
