Just shy away from actively WORSHIPING him!

Ya' know, I have the tendency to loathe Muslims and Christians alike for their crimes in the name of religion, but if you consider that Soviet Russia and many other Communist regimes were Atheist, one has to wonder whether Atheism is actually more murderous than Christianity or Islam. It isn't because the cult of Stalin, Mao Zedong, Kemal Ataturk, Kim Il Sung e.t.c. e.t.c. IS NOT A VARIETY OF ATHEISM. Atheism DOES NOT HAVE VARIETIES: Either you believe in some superior force which cannot be criticized, or YOU DON'T!
The majority of the world is worshipping fairy tale characters, at least it's much more rational to worship such a great man. As a matter of fact the cult of personalities is more rational than Christianity, Islam and Judaism.

Actually the Atheist faction is growing exponentially all over the world. Several countries like Sweden and the Czech republic have gone to majority Atheist already. Some of the most famous entertainers in the U.S. of A. are outspoken Atheists, and no, the cult of certain persons is less rational than Christianity or Islam or Judaism because the cult of Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong, Tito e.t.c. has produced more corpses than the usual forms of worship.

If Atatürk didn't commit these crimes against Greeks and Armenians, he would be a well respected Leader by me.
He was Secularist, Social-Democrat/Socialist and most of all, Patriot/Nationalist with Guts!
If there was a Greek version of Atatürk, I would have voted for him...
Too bad most of our Greek leftist parties are anti-Greek...

The Dersim massacre or the Zilan massacre weren't carried out on the orders of the Young Turks, it was carried out on Ataturk's orders.

Yeah??? Why is Dersim is the only Kemalist city in Eastern Anatolia then? He killed rebels not all people. It is not a crime , it is defending your country...
