Why so many English people against Poles?

Many times I notice that British people and English people especially tend to dislike Poles. Many times they don't even hate Muslims & MENA, but just Poles. And problem is, I don't understand them why at all. From my own experience with the Polish disapora here in Sweden they are all just as intelligent, attractive, educated and motivated as Swedes. I even think, they probably are more hard-working and positively attituted towards the idea of going to work than what ethnic Swedes are. I really have never seen or understood the problem with these people being immigrants in any country for its host and its peoples' well being.

Why so many English dislike Poles?

They tend to let their anger out on Poles and Eastern Europeans in general for immigration because it's "safe" to target this group, i.e. you are not labelled a racist.

Many Polish immigrants to the UK have been the grasping poor who worked for cheap, undercutting British workers in the wage economy, and making remittances instead of spending in the UK.

Although it is fading, this trend has made some parts of the UK up to 20% Polish or Eastern European. Poles are just the largest group of East people and so the most easily identified.

Actually, there is not so much dislike, but just imagine if hundreds of thousands of British people moved into Poland.

Imagine the welcome they would receive!
