Nice strawman. I never said shot people can't survive. I said that gunshot victims usually have graver injuries and more fatalities than victims of fistfights and knives.

Sorry, but the strawman is to be found in the above quote, not in my previous post; I never said you "said shot people can't survive", I was saying that the lethality of a gun or a knife (fistfights can't honestly be compared with knives, IMO) is determined by how they are used. Face it, if someone wants to kill another person, it's usually going to be pretty easy to do whether they have a knife or a gun, and their success will depend mostly on their determination to succeed.

I don't agree at all. If guns and knives are equally lethal, then why don't the US Army abandon all their rifles and issue soldiers with knives instead? It would be a lot cheaper.

Army service is still mandatory here, so I am pretty much trained to kill just as any other man, so, I don't see how that make our society here any less dangerous than bunch of people who can't even put a clip into a handgun.

Our rights are what our country was founded on.
When you take those away, what do you have left?
A building with no foundation falls.
We love our country.
We don't want it to fall into the hands of tyranny.
We have to be able to defend it.
That's why we depend on our rights.
It's a man's right, not just an American's right, to be able to defend himself.
Unfortunately, many nations allow themselves to be controlled so that they can't.
Then you have beautiful nations like Hungary struggling everyday for their rights, trying so hard to protect their false democracy from Soviet scum, and everytime they fail.
I've watched a woman be stomped in the street by riot control while screaming and reaching out to her husband who could not help her, as he was being pushed away, and all of this for their rights.
They fly their flag, knowing the consequences.
They love their rights, as do I.
I wish you and other people would give at least HALF a shit as much.
