I guess you're talking about Macedonian nationalist claims here. I can also sight Bulgarian nationalist claims that Macedonians are Bulgarians in order to justify a re-occupation of Macedonia as per WW1 and WW2.

Good news is that the Macedonian and Bulgarian Academies of Science and Arts have just had their 1st working group that should help to iron out some of the differences...

I don't remember my grandparents from Greece ever calling themselves rep. Macedonians. Only Macedonians. It's like calling croats from Bosnia rep. Croats.
