Arnold is much older but he is a Germanic Faelid.
I still liked his first movie, the second Conan one with him was weird.

is true, if we combine with the atmosphere of 1930, anthropology and human races, we have an atmosphere pro-Western and pro-white.

The fact is that women of conan are not usually Nordic in the stories of Howard, Conan is accompanied by Semitic women that are represented with very pale white skin and dark hair, also with Hyborian Women from Nemedia, Ophir, Argos,Aquilona ect... always civilized women.

In a couple of stories Conan (or Howard) shows a preference for white hyborian women, even a woman asks Conan for her protection against black people, saying a simple "you must protect a woman of your race", 1930 was a time less politically correct.

Conan's character is based on Howard himself, the heroic image that he had of himself.

180 cm, relatively/moderately tall for 1930, 90 kg/200 Lb the same weight of Conan, black hair and blue eyes with a natural tan skin.

Howard always said, presumably joking, Conan's character was not his idea, that he heard a voice from the past, supposedly Conan in spirit, telling him their stories. Howard was psychologically questionable.
