Dalofaelids too are hairier than Osteuropids. So there are typological patterns, but not necessarily a simple "North vs. South" one.

I wasn't aware of those patterns you mentioned, that's good to know. My comment was mainly directed to a basic "North/South" pattern indeed.

As I notice around here there's a lot of different hairiness patterns on an individual basis.

I am seventeen but I have few bodyhair and almost nothing on my chest. They are hard to notice because my skin is light and their color is blondish/reddish.

No this is not true. It's just that people can't see it because their body hair is light.

Native North Americans seem to have the least body hair, especially Canadians, and they tend to have dark hair (on their head), most of them. On the East Coast their hair (again, on their head) gets lighter.

My scalp hair color ranges from blond to dark brown. When I lived overseas, my hair was considered to be "yellow" by Asians. Yet, I have thick dark hairs on my chest, legs, and arms. But I'm also an American mutt. As others have implied, there is not a strict rule between scalp hair color and the amount of body hair a person will have unless you trace the history of such phenotypes back further to a time where the phenotype for small amounts of body hair and the phenotype for light hair color had a stricter correlation. That requires thinking back further in time than what we generally tend to do when having such discussions about the appearances of different peoples.

I beg to differ I'm a natural blond(though my scalp is turning a bit mousy) and I'm as fuzzy as can be. I've even manage find hairs on my back & I'm also able to grow a full beard(How'd you think many vikings could grow full beards) We have as much body as next guy is only less noticeable on us than ie: brunettes. Geez your making us sound like mongoloids so you're probably thinking everyman east of Sweden: Baltids, Finns. Not North Germanic. I've seen that Alexander guy with a beard so yeah were pretty hairy

Regardless of hair colour, many North Europeans have on average less body hair than some other Caucasoid populations(especially Mediterraneans and Middle Easterners)

Yes, true in my case and on average probably otherwise as well. Or at least having light hair will create that illusion at the very least. I´m rather young still though so can´t say anything conclusive just yet...
