There are so many who have played Irish in film but some off the top of my head are Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Daniel Day Lewis, Pete Postlewaithe, Sean Bean, Alan Rickman, Richard Gere, Tom Berenger, Sean Connery, Billy Connelly, Leonardo Dicaprio, Cameron Diaz, Michael J Fox, Gerard Butler, Tommy Lee Jones, Mickey Rourke, Cate Blanchett, James Cromwell, Val Kilmer, Heath Ledger, Orlando Bloom, Heather Graham, Mick Jagger.

That's all I can think of for now. Nearly everyone has played an Irish character some do it more convincingly than others.
