Very sorry to hear that, well I heard a couple people say that watching the news (preferably science related) is a good way to get over it a bf/gf because you realize that the world moves forward and so will you.

Make a list of his annoying traits, if your friends are bad mouthing him, let them.During your relationship you oversee someone else flaws and think them almost perfect which is why it's harder for you to get over because you think it was the perfect guy/girl

Avoid contacting them. Delete them off FB etc etc, you don't want yourself reminding yourself of him/her

Work out (takes some of your frustration away and boosts self esteem)

Hang out with friends

IF you do think about them, think about the bad times you had with him/her

You are 18 and trust me you will meet a lot of men once you get to my age. If you get to college or university you will meet even more.

As I said, there is someone who has taken an interest in me, and he's cute and extremely intelligent, but hmmm... Getting into another relationship so quickly seems hasty. I may consider going out with him this weekend, maybe. Perhaps it will help me take my mind off my ex.
