Christian Preacher Arrested By Scottish Police (Interesting Video of their anti-Christian Agenda)

It would be interesting to see if a Muslim would be arrested for preaching in Scotland or if the authorities are just anti-Christian?

Wow this is interesting. Do the Laws of Scotland differ to England in regards to public preaching/free speech?

There seems to be endless videos of Muslims preaching publicly in England.

Good on ya, Scotland. We have public preachers in Melbourne and they're annoying as hell.

They usually are annoying but it's their right under freedom of speech

The laws and policies do differ a bit between Scotland and England. Scotland is a bit more liberal. I can't watch the video but my guess was that he was arrested for soliciting without a licence.

Basically he's an Aussie very politely preaching the gospel and police ask him to stop and ask his friend to stop filming. He politely asks if he's breaking any law and they cannot name any law he's breaking. He says he has legal advice that filming is legal. The police then say its because he's too loud but he points out there's two buskers on the same street with amplifiers but he isn't using a mic or any amplification. Clear double standards. The police then say if he doesn't stop they'll arrest him for "breaching the peace," whatever that means. You can bet he got let off because they clearly have no case. It's clear cut bullying.

Old churches here are turned into bars and clubs lol. There are a few christian places still around and you still see people going to prayer and gospel meetings. Even the airports have prayer and worship rooms so I'm not sure what this is all about. Maybe felt it was too political oriented or too serious for a tourist atmosphere. I can't say for certain what the true motives were. The police here are well aware of how important tourism is so buskers are expected and tolerated, loud drunks at 4am are expected and tolerated. Can't really say what the motives were for this but must have felt it was bad for the atmosphere.
