Sorry dude, I agree that some people get obsess, but this is a non-bias thread.

Afrikaners are ore of an ethnic and linguistic group then "racial" .

Well it is clear that this project is solely based on 'race'. What about afrikaners with 'black' admixture? Are they seen as 'white' too? Are they allowed to live in this village? Trying to build a village just based on the 'race factor' is racist. Just racist.

Probably helps that everyone not in their race around them is working hard to kill them off.

I'm not entirely sure what everyone's fascination with Orania is. It's one small town built on someone's private property with a small population. Hardly representative of anything.

I don't think they let English-speaking white people in either.

I agree, as far as I can remember, it accepts only white afrikaner people of dutch ancestry, they confined this settlement in order to create a circle where they could preserve their own culture, it's not a white town only, it's an afrikaner town only, and there are black people in Orania(around 1%) aswell as mixed(around 2%).

There are thousands of foreigner settlements even in Europe, so it should not be seen with grudge.

But the nowadays media tends to label anything linked to cultural preservation as racist..
