Mexico's average IQ is 94, which is basically the same difference as Orientals have from whites.

Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices test was administered to a representative sample of 920 white, Mestizo and Native Mexican Indian children aged 7–10 years in Mexico. The mean IQs in relation to a British mean of 100 obtained from the 1979 British standardization sample and adjusted for the estimated subsequent increase were: 98·0 for whites, 94·3 for Mestizos and 83·3 for Native Mexican Indians.

I am not sure what kind of subjects they used for the groupings of "whites" or "native mexican indians" as both groups in their extreme pure form are rather uncommon.

However, the very own study admits it only sampled limited people in rural places. Peasants that live far from cities are usually quite ignorant and not very bright regardless of race. The "98 iq average for whites" is not completely true, as it is assuming that Caucasian Mexicans have to have the same IQ as Spaniards (from where they took this sample).

Regardless, despite they obtained this mestizo average of 94 from rural places (where people is generally illiterate and ignorant), it scores nearly the same level as some European nations:

Rural mexican mestizo IQ of 94 is on the same level as Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece, Belarus, Lithuana, Latvia, Poland, Italy, Ireland, Portugal etc... I guess these people can compete in "retard olympics" as well.

Yes, I do not believe a 94 is impressive either but I don't completely consider these tests valid anyway. It's a way to see some insight on mathematical stuff and pattern identifying but there are far more abstract aspects of the mind that can not be quantified.

A small study for a country with a large population such as Mexico's. That is only the tip of the iceberg. Just imagine if they did a research in all the major metropolitan areas of the country where people receive a batter education and eat a little better.

The title of the thread is amusing. 'Spain' got caught by Spaniards who recognized some of the players and knew they weren't mentally or physically handicap. In other words, it was Spaniards who blew the whistle on the cheating and yet the impression given from the title with the ever so clever use of personification is that Spain tried to deceive the world.
