Possibly the caste system? I do not know but I know those Persian women Purr.........And some look mighty fine. One goes to my school and passes somewhat as white, she has a light skin tone and greenish blue eyes. To a degree maybe some of them. To me the term Aryan is just like the modern word for white as it can mean anything and not something specific. I am European so I am white, a Lebanese person is middle eastern but under the definition is white too. Aryans and their original homeland is interesting so I am sure many 'Aryans' still live there today but probably mixed with Asian genes.

Aryans are an ancient group of Indo-Europeans. It can be used to describe modern Europeans [the real biological ones]. But is it true that the Aryan homeland going back was Ukraine? If so then Hitler had it all wrong.

Persians are genetically mainly native Elamites and Mesopotamians who adopted the language of the Aryan elite. The nomadic Aryans who migrated to Iran didn't contribute very much for the modern Persian gene pool but they were able to assimilate the local Mesopotamians through elite dominance
