    You made a good observation about the duration of syllables. Armenian has minimal stress, that's why it sounds fluent (flowing). Portuguese, on the other hand, has a characteristic word stress (varying syllable duration) that Armenian lacks. In overall pronunciation, I'd say Greek is much closer to Portuguese; especially since Greek also has the common 'sh' sound (sigma) throughout.
