Interesting JAX. I am J2-M92 which is the direct subclade after M67. I wonder how did M67 get to them.

Seems to be a good thread to post this diagram I made in.

Yes indeed it is very interesting. The J2a-M67 among the Ingush and Chechens most likely either arrived there with Neolithic peoples from the Fertile Crescent or a bit later from the peoples of the kingdom of Urartu in Eastern Anatolia who were possibly fleeing or migrating away from invaders such as Armenian speakers. Either if these scenarios is likely I think. Once the ancestors of the Ingush and Chechens reached the Caucasus they became quite isolated in the mountains and it happened to be that J2a-M67 came to dominate their Y-DNA pool.

I've updated it with more information about the councils.
Conflicts only ever occurred on a personal level. They never erupted into full warfare between clans. Blood debts were extremely strict and observed often voluntarily even to prevent greater conflict. People took full responsibility for their actions.
Mountain laws were extremely effective at eliminating crime, much more so than any penal code today that I know of.
