How did you find out about the Apricity?

I discovered The Apricity via it being mentioned in Skadi. Probably a link posted or something. I can't really remember the details.

I only began posting in forums within the last year and a half. I knew of their existence before, but thought it an inferior means of communication when compared with my usual means (messenger), real-time vs. non-real-time. So I neglected forums for many years.

Then I was browsing some chatter in a Black Metal forum and wanted to insert my 2 cents. So I joined and realized the advantages contained in forum communication, viz. a medium to communicate with a community of individuals sharing common interests.

Shortly afterwards, I abandoned the childish music related forum and joined Skadi by invitation from another Black Metal Forumite (Velvet). Eventually at some point in time, I became aware of Stirips and The Apricity and saved them in my bookmarks. At the time, I viewed both sites the same, relative to Skadi, i.e. other racialist forums.

Eventually my presence at Skadi declined and I joined Anthropology Forum. Which was refreshing at the time because I could argue with people that didn't share my beliefs, but still talk about things that interested me, viz. genetics, race, ancient history, anthropology, inter alia.

In time, serious discussion declined, Trolling became rampant and as a consequence, my presence declined as well.

Ken shares genomes with me at 23andme and suggested I come to The Apricity -- and I did.

Well I met this one user on the Nation States forum, and we got to talking and he sent me to the Skadi forum. However when they figured out that I Celtiberic, and not Germanic, they booted me out of there. So then he directed me here and I found a new home.

I used to be on Skadi and came across a thread badmouthing Apricity, from which I was able to infer that Apricity was some sort of intelligent, respectful pan-European forum, which was exactly what I had been looking for all along.

Hm, this has prompted me to find an example of a line of postings from my Skadi days...The thread was called "How Extreme Are You in Regards to Racial 'Purity'?"

Me: I only care that they are European. So really, I'm no more extreme than the average person, except for the fact that I admit my criteria.

Someone on Skadi: So you're more into white pride than Germanic pride? Seems weird to me.

Me: Well there aren't any intelligent European pride sites that I know of.

And how is it weird? What's weird is disassociating oneself from other Europeans who are equally castigated and discriminated against by non-Europeans. We're very much a minority in the world; why further fracture ourselves through over-reliance on minor differences?

I think I've made this rant before, so I'm not going to go further with it. I know I'm in the minority here on this issue.

There was another time in which I attempted to begin a Greco-Roman history appreciation thread. Here's one notable response:

In other words, anything great in Europe must have been done by Germanics. There's no other plausible explanation.
