I'm gonna try to talk in Arabian using common Spanish words of Arab origin...any Arab speaker understand something?

According to the TLF (Trésor de la Langue Française, Thesaurus of the French Language), embarrasser, which comes from the Spanish embarazar (from Leones or Portuguese embaraçar), ultimately go back as far as baraço which is of uncertain origin.

Didn't know that, I thought it came from Arab. Actually many "Arab" sounding words (it sounds Arab to us just because sound strange) have a Celtic, pre-Celtic, Iberian or Basque origin.

I wonder how much easier it is to a Hebrew native speaker to be fluent in Arabic and vice versa, since both languages seem to be quite related.
